1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. They can support core website functions, remember preferences, measure performance and help protect services.
2. Our approach
We may use strictly necessary technologies without consent where they are essential to provide a service requested by you, maintain security, balance traffic or remember privacy choices.
Analytics, advertising, personalisation or other non-essential technologies will not be activated unless and until the required consent has been given. Rejecting non-essential technologies should be as straightforward as accepting them.
3. Categories
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, network management, session continuity and privacy preferences | Active where necessary |
| Functional | Remembering optional choices and enhanced features | Off until consent where required |
| Analytics | Understanding aggregate usage and improving performance | Off until consent where required |
| Advertising | Measuring campaigns or delivering targeted communications | Off until consent |
4. Current website position
Wirtor is in development. The live cookie inventory may change as features and service providers are introduced. The consent interface shown on the website is the authoritative current control for optional technologies, and this page should be updated whenever the inventory materially changes.
Before enabling analytics or other third-party scripts, Wirtor will record the provider, purpose, cookie or storage name, duration, category and consent requirement in its operational cookie register.
5. Managing choices
You can use the website’s cookie controls to accept, reject or change optional categories. You can also remove stored cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may cause parts of the website not to function correctly.
6. Third-party services
Some embedded or connected services may place their own technologies after consent. Those providers may act as independent controllers for some processing and should provide their own privacy information.
7. Contact and updates
Questions can be sent to [email protected]. We may update this policy when our website, providers or legal obligations change.
